Case Manager Support

Case Managers are an available resource to clinicians requesting additional support for their practice’s VNS Therapy™ program. The Case Managers have extensive experience and can provide clinicians’ office support in a number of invaluable ways.

Case Managers are licensed nurses and are available over the telephone to provide the following support:

• Verify patient’s insurance benefits
• Assist with insurance approval of coverage and reimbursement for the VNS Therapy System and surgical implantation via the PIQ process
• Serve as liaison for scheduling surgical consults and OR dates with surgeon’s offices
• Provide patient educational materials upon request
• Enroll patients in the patient education program, AVENUES
• Educate patients via telephone upon request
